The Craft of Carrying

The Craft of Carrying

Pyramid pouches are back with some added friends. I am always in pursuit of making the most functional, well crafted tools- a spot to store and carry your tools is maybe THE most important tool.  When I seek to create a new item, its important to me that it has a true purpose in your craft life.  Friday April 19th I am releasing a group of bags that each serve a purpose.  Lets go small to large.

Beginning with the Fish Pouch- the most fun and maybe most important of the bags.

The fish pouch holds pens + pencils, needle holding acorns, 6" DPNs, a highlighter so you can highlight your pattern size on the go, and of course latch tools.  Why not upgrade that latch tool pouch to something a little more festive.  These are the tools that I use most when I am working through a project and they need a special place to live.  I like to put this bag within the larger bags.  Its fish shape helps you identify it in your dark bag without looking. We love to pair the fish with our pyramid pouch which is better for larger rounder tools.
The Pyramid Pouch is my personal favorite tiny A Frame House for your other tools.  Check out the image to see what I like to put in there.  I love that it can sit up and stand on the table and be carabinered onto our T Bottom Project Bags. This one is coming in denim + a cream colored twill.  All fabrics are deadstock.
The project bag has a really sweet gingham fabric lining (as do the rest of our bags) and can fit a 5-6 skein project.  Head over to the product details for exact dimensions on all of our bags.  If I am commuting or traveling, this is my go-to bag to throw in a backpack or other larger bag to keep it safe.  But if you are not traveling and want a little bucket-y bag for your project to live in, we have another great option from one of my favorite bag brands- Immodest Cotton.
Immodest Cotton Lunch Tote is the perfect sling-your-project-over-to-your-friends-house or local knitting circle size and it comes in the perfect color.  We also have larger totes that are a great weekender size.  I like to put my T bottom zippered pouch inside of these larger guys.
Or maybe the best knitting bag of all time-----
All of the Immodest Cotton Totes have two sets of handles-  the leather ones that you can see in the images or you can remove those and only use the cotton webbing ones. I love to use these bags together for the perfect knitting while moving around // storage situation.
What will you put in your bags and whats your perfect knitting bag set up?
