I've been looking forward to this all year! My favorite drop of the year is with our friends at Spincycle Yarns.
Last year Rachel of Spincycle Yarns knit one of my patterns, the 4 Letter Sweater, in their gorgeous yarn. Rachel chose the word "RUDE" which is a word decision that I absolutely love. The pattern is designed so that you can knit any 4 letter word. Get creative, there are so many great 4 letter words.
This summer we decided that it would be really fun to collaborate and make some of these sweaters come to life as ready to wear garments. I chose the word YUCK for my personal collection, but we landed on KNIT for our small production run. This lovely group of sweaters comes in 3 beautiful Trine colorways: Trine 41/14 = KELP, Trine 13/76 = CITRINE, and Trine 90/69 = NEWSPRINT. Just as Trine captures a single moment in time of Dream State by stretching that one spot with the perfect 3-color combination into a full skein, we were inspired to do the same with this sweater. Celebrating a joyful moment and preserving that feeling forever for knitters everywhere. Because every knitter deserves a special sweater just for them. Its going to be really hard to decide on a color because they are all so lovely.
Collaborating with friends is the MOST fun. One of my favorite aspects of the sweaters, despite it being just a small detail is the hangtag. We truly considered every detail.
