Spring is for layering, color, yarn weights, and color pooling. For me, spring is a delightful time because you have all of the hope of summer without the hot hot heat- the flowers are popping up, the days are getting longer, and your undying love of knitting persists. Let's celebrate some of our favorite spring-y knits.
Brioche Bubble Crew:
A super lofty light weight sweater. I love mohair for spring because the knitting has an air-y-ness to it but its still super hygge for the cool wind of the season. Find the pattern here
Mizzoni Tank:
We designed this one with Manos del Uruguay Allegria yarn which is a beautiful fingering weight. You can find the pattern here
Capital Vest:
Vests are the perfect layering pieces. You can put them over something with long or short sleeves or wear them under a jacket. I love how this one plays with color pooling. Link to pattern
Classic Vest:
The perfect first garment that you have ever knit is also a vest. This pattern is appropriate for the temperatures but also a great pattern to learn garment construction on. You can match childhood icon Doug Funnie in the process. Link to the pattern.
Flower Power Pullover:
Nothing says spring like april showers and may flowers. This sweater is a lovely folk-y one perfect for your solstice style needs. You can find that pattern here.
I hope you enjoyed our little list and enjoy the gorgeous shining sun- get out in nature and stop to the smell the flowers.
