Construction
The upper back is worked from the top down to the underarms. After completing the back, stitches for each front are picked up along the back shoulder line and worked separately down to the underarms. The back and front stitches are joined for working the lower body in rows down to the lower edge. Stitches for each sleeve are picked up around the armhole opening and worked in the round down to the cuffs.

Fit
This cardigan is short and stout. It is a boxy, relaxed fit and is slighly cropped. It would be very easy to elongate this pattern by knititng more in the body section.
