This sock is knit from the top down in the round. The pattern is written for DPNs anywhere there is intarsia in the round. For all sections that are not intarsia in the round you can use your favorite small circumference knitting technique (magic loop or 9” circular needles). The pattern comes with instructions for both socks pictured because I like them as a non matching pair. There is an afterthought heel and the toe is knit in the traditional decreased manner

Fit

Crew height socks in 2 sizes Narrow (Wide). The pattern provides details on how to manipulate the length to accommodate various shoe sizes.

Pick your size based on width, not length.

Materials

Color 1 (green on the sample): Madeline Tosh Twist Light in colorway
“Oak” 118g is 474 yds // 433 m. 29 (31)g

Color 2 (red-orange on the sample): Fiber MacGyver Suri Silk Lace in
colorway “Foxy” 50g is 328 yds // 300 m. 15 (16)g

Color 3(neon yellow on the sample) Fiber MacGyver Merino Sock in
colorway “Lemon” 100g is 437 yds // 400 m. 15 (16)g

Color 4 (light purple on the sample): A great stash opportunity. Ritual
Dyes Maiden colorway “Holy Basil” 100g is 400 yds // 365 m. 13 (14)g

Needles and Notions:

•US 1 circ. needles

•US 1 DPNs for toe and heel shaping

•Waste yarn for afterthought heel

•Tapestry Needle for kitchener stitching the heel and toe

Details

34sts is 4” in stockinette knit with Main Color (MC). Row gauge is not important in this pattern.
