Zinnia Flower Sweater Tee
This lightweight and breathable tee features a knit intarsia floral motif with a vintage flair. Our superfine merino is ultra-light, breathable, and soft against the skin. It is designed to keep you cool, not warm. It’s the reason these pieces feel just as right on a spring day as they do layered into cooler weather.
The tee is a buttery yellow, with vibrant red flowers and woody stems.
100% superfine merino
This piece is crafted in collaboration with fair-wage artisan partners in China, each garment reflects a deep respect for craft, community, and tradition. With fewer than 100 pieces made, every design remains as special as the hands that created it.
A note on producing in China: Chinese artisans are the best in the world at fine gauge knitting. Executing our intricate intarsia patterns and hand linking finishes with tiny stitches is extremely challenging and our partners' quality is unmatched. China is also a giant country with a lot of climates which means it is a great country for sourcing a variety of yarn qualities. The merino, cotton, and linen are all local which reduces carbon footprint due to transit.

Tiny Stitches + Attention to Detail
Every DEGEN knit is a collaboration—a chain of hands. From fiber to finished garment, each piece passes through skilled fair-wage Chinese makers who bring generations of knowledge to every step. Spinning, dyeing, knitting, linking, washing—each stage held with care, precision, and pride. This is craft as a living practice, not a process.

A Study in Beautiful Finishing
Each design is an exploration of knit as both structure and expression. Look at the inside of the garments. The inside is a work of art. DEGEN draws from global traditions, historic arts movements, and experimental techniques—balancing handcraft and machine innovation. The result is knitwear that feels intentional, artful, and quietly complex.

Material, Sourced with Purpose
We work with some of the finest natural fibers sourced in China including merino, cotton, and silk. Each yarn is selected for its integrity, feel, and performance, then thoughtfully paired with design. The result is knitwear that holds its shape, softens with wear, and carries the story of where it came from. We aim to use recycled materials where it adds to the design: recycled tweeds, silk, and wool can add dimension to color.
